Use the Eyedropper tool
- [Instructor] Using the eyedropper tool is a function you'll find yourself coming back to all the time, almost instinctively. It has its own category, right here in the toolbar, and you can access it by clicking on this little eyedropper icon. To use it, simply click anywhere on your canvas, and you'll notice that the color picker, which is right here on the bottom left corner of my screen, will automatically change to reflect what color I've currently tapped on. In this case, I'm actively just pressing and dragging all around my screen here with the eyedropper tool, and the color picker is keeping up with showing me whatever is directly underneath my pen, but the most powerful way of using it is by accessing it with the shortcut key option, if you're on a Mac, or alt if you're on Windows, on your keyboard, while you're using any of the mark making tools.
