Storyboarding exercise

- [Instructor] To practice on your first storyboard, I have an exercise for you. It's about a scenario that most people already understand or at least can imagine, so no understanding phase is necessary. The scenario is an information card for a pet in a vet's office. You might think of this as being displayed on somebody flat screen TV on the wall to use while the vet is attending to a pet. Start by listing the most important data items about the pet. Keep it down to five or six items. Then draw at least two layouts that compose this information into a card view. Look for creative ways to expose the information in a way that's easy to consume. You should spend at least 15 minutes on this exercise, and it's okay to go up to 30 minutes. Remember, generate at least two designs. The most common rookie mistake is to get bogged down in your first design. For comparison, here are some sketches I came up with for this challenge.
