Incorporate Lasso Fill
- [Instructor] The lasso fill tool is one of those tools that can be a huge time saver when you need to quickly color in some line work. It combines two operations we've already learned into one action, selecting and filling. So just to recap, in a previous lesson, we created a layer called fill, and that gave us a simple silhouette. So I'm just going to delete that, we can either hit delete on our keyboard, or we can head on up here to the icon in the command bar, and that will clear a layer. Now, what we had done earlier was use the lasso fill tool here in our selection category to make an organic selection, and then we either used the menu, edit, fill, or the little bucket icon in our selection launcher to create our shape, and then we tap out to deselect. Now, those are several things we have to do multiple times in a row, and this is where the lasso fill tool combines all those into one action. We can find it here…
