Importing reference images

- [Instructor] Now that we have our artboard setup, let's bring in some texture files as well as image references to give us a little inspiration before we can begin cleaning up our character and his wooden castle. The best approach to bringing in more than one or two files is to go into your Exercise Files folder and select the first image in your folder, go all the way to the last image in the folder, hold Shift and click. Then you can drag all of those in. If you hold down the Shift button, it'll not only bring in all of them, but it'll center everything as well. They are going to come in as smart objects, so you do have to go in and hit Enter a few times to bring all of those in. We've got a lot of different textures to kind of play around and choose. Some of these are just going to be for our reference. Some of these we're just going to be taking a look at and understanding how materials work.
