- Get lost in a passion project. Think of your ideal project, the one that provides that perfect mix of a subject you love, a skill you enjoy, and a little twist of something new to learn. Odds are, you're not working on this ideal project at your day job, that's where passion projects can fill that void. Passion projects are those that you usually take on the side, they're the nights and weekends projects that you take on to either earn a little extra money or help someone out. They're called passion projects because you sacrifice your time to work on them, the time that you reserved for you. To do this, you must have a passion for the project.
