To help increase your following online, I'm a big fan of repositories, areas where you generate ideas, pool resources, and have easy access to content. When it comes to idea generating, look to the power of batching. We typically take one day a month to come up with ideas for our posts all at once. This includes blogs, news stories, and the various social platforms. We get as specific as we can for 30 minutes. We store all of the ideas in our project management tool so later we can expand on the ideas, get right to the content creation, or riff off it. We then delegate certain content to certain team members, assigning them a batch day or two a month to develop the content. We then check in quarterly on that development and make tweaks where necessary. We have an area on our server where various types of online content are stored by the themes or content we produce.
