Design is universal
(cheerful rock music) - Design's important, it's important today because people expect it, we've grown up with it, we've seen great packaging, we see great television, we're used to it, we want good design. Now, I have a friend, an accountant, worked with a big giant corporate client, and he lost it because the client came back to them and said, we don't like your charts. They don't look good to us. It wasn't the content, it wasn't the information. It was simply they did not like the way things were laid out because they were visual people, they expected good design. It's that critical, so it's not just about feeling good and looking nice, it's about communicating and getting to the core of the message and connecting with that audience. That's the power of design. (cheerful rock music)
