- [Instructor] Clip Studio Paint's curve tools are huge time savers, especially when you're trying to achieve clean, smooth line work. For example let's say I'm at a stage where I'd like to refine this sketch into smooth line work. The first thing I do is reduce the opacity of my existing line work pass. I'll make a new layer, and this is where I'll be adding my cleaner line work. And because I'm looking for cleaner line work, I'm going to move over to my lighter pencil. I'll zoom in here. And you can see that this particular brush has smoother, crisper lines. I'll tap delete on my keyboard, and that will just clear the layer for me. I want to make sure that I'm at the right line width for my intentions here. Maybe I'll move up to seven. Let's try six, that works. Delete for clear.
