- [Instructor] Welcome to Type Tips. I'm Nigel French. In this episode, I want to talk about object styles applied to caption frames and to credit frames. If you're working on a picture-driven layout and your pictures have captions, you want to be able to style those captions in a really quick and consistent way. And object styles can really help us do this. Here, I have a paragraph style applied to the text, and an object style applied to the frame. So I want to recreate this and then use that to format this raw caption that we have over here. So first of all, I'm going to begin by applying the caption paragraph style. Then I'll come to my object styles, create a new object style, and I'll call this caption one. Now exactly what you include in your caption object style would depend upon the kind of layouts that you're working with, but here are some considerations.
