- Now that you've gained some insight on what to ask and what not to ask a new prospect and how to talk about money, let's test your new skills in the following situation. The prospect is a local nonprofit and here is the information you already know. They want you to design a fundraising campaign that includes a campaign identity system and email blast. Your main contact is on the fundraising team. It was a cold inquiry and they found you online, and you've talked to them briefly a few months back over the phone and they are now calling you to work with them.
