- Social media to a large degree is all about the sharing of photos. Photos of things we like, where we've been, what we've done, the friends we hang out with, what we've eaten, and how we look, among other things. So sure is nice when we're able to post photos that look halfway decent or better yet, look great, especially, you know, if you're a creative professional, because people do judge us by the images we post. Also I know from personal experience that taking pictures does a lot more than just populate our social media feeds and fill our hard drives with images. It also feels our heads with an increased awareness of aesthetics. And that's because every time you compose a photo with a camera, you're giving yourself the chance to expand and exercise your awareness of aesthetic factors involving spacial relationships, compositional balance, visual framing, and a lot more, which is why I'd say that using a camera for…
