Building a design team

- [Instructor] So far we've covered why UX Design adds a lot of value to your applications. And we've talked about the concept of design principles that help you see what's good and bad about designs. Now we're ready for the process you go through to actually do UX Design. This process typically takes place before you begin laying down code for your application. The goal isn't to design every single detail of your new app. That would simply take too long. It aims, instead, at designing the most important parts and establishing a general design field and direction. With that design scaffolding in place, details can be added later during development. First we need to look at how you build your design team. And then go on to the first steps the team needs to take. While you can do UX Design alone, I find that collaborative efforts with a design team almost always yield better results. On enterprise level UX Design projects a team of three to six is common.
