Using typographic personality to emphasize meaning

We respond to type by the away it looks. Based on a lifetime of visual experience and colored by our own personal experiences. So different shapes and forms of typography can visually convey a full panoply of effects and emotions. For example, which of these type styles looks more beautiful to you. Which of these looks more powerful? Which of these looks more friendly? Which of these looks more trustworthy? Which of these look more modern? I could go on, but you can see that type has personality because of our associations with its form.
