Join Diane Burns for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know before watching this course, part of InDesign: Creating Animations.
- This course assumes you have at least an intermediate working knowledge of how to use InDesign and that you're comfortable navigating around a page and using panels including the Layers Panel. If you don't feel you're quite up to speed with InDesign, there's no better resource or no better place to start than with David Blatner's InDesign CC Essential Training. It will also be helpful if you're comfortable using InDesign's EPUB Interactivity Preview Panel and some of InDesign's other interactive features. For a good overview, check out InDesign CC: Interactive Document Fundamentals with Mike Rankin.
And if your goal is to create Fixed-Layout EPUBs that include animation, be sure and take a look at Anne-Marie Concepcion's course, Creating Fixed-Layout EPUBs with InDesign CC. The main prerequisite is that you're pretty familiar with InDesign. If that's the case, you're ready to go.
