Animating type: Old movie reel headline

- Did you ever see any of those old movie newsreels with a headline spinning into place? Let me show you what I mean. Let's preview this in the EPUB interactivity preview panel. I'm going to hold down shift and opt or alt and press the return key. There we go, spinning headline news. This is an effect that's pretty easy to do in InDesign. Let me show you how. I'll close the panel and then I'm going to turn to this second page in this file where I have an unanimated version of the page. I'm going to click on the type and let's start with rotating because this headline is obviously rotating. I'll start with 360 degrees so I'm just going to type right into the rotate field and press return. Now, because this is where I want my type to end up, it's not where I want it to start, I'm going to set this to animate to the current appearance. Next, I want this type to start really small and scale up as it's spinning so I'm going to come up in to the scale field and I'll have it start at I think…
