Stories tickle and stimulate the brain. Any human brain more than plain facts do. And that's why you want to harness this power to help to get your message across. In this move we'll try to identify what creates impact. Impact is what we want. We want what every storyteller wants to excite, shock, frighten or otherwise affect our viewer. How can we make our design work this stimulating, this provocative? We're going to look at a few examples of stories and visuals that I think will kick you in the gut. And then we're going to ask ourselves why they were so effective. Here's an excerpt from a story you probably read in elementary school. Charlotte's Web by E. B. White.
