- So here's one of the masterpieces we've created on this course, just using acrylics and a few simple colors. If there's any stage that you feel you've missed in your painting, just go back through the videos and just go through them a step at a time. What I'm going to show now is how I finish my work by signing it and then applying an isolation coat. The isolation coat will help to bring all the sheens together, give it a nice vibrancy in color, and be perfect if you ever want to varnish it in the future. So when I'm deciding where to sign my painting, I'm always looking at the image to see which side, of the left side or the right side that will balance the painting the best. So for this painting, because it's got the lighthouse and the focus on this bottom right, I'm just going to sign it down here in the bottom right-hand corner. You can use a brush to sign your painting, but it can be very hard to get a really clean line when you're first starting. So what I always use is a…
