- Here in this back view we have some new proportional landmarks. One head size. We can still create an oval for the head, starting at the top. We want to drop a plum line. This is going to be a symmetrical line. Helps us notice the symmetry of the body all the way down to the ground, all the way down to the ground line. We've got a ground line here. We've got this plum line that connects it to the very top of the head. And this plum line, which is perpendicular to the ground plane, is going to help us create a sense of equality from side to side as we draw a symmetrical view like this. From the back, there's almost two circles you can draw - the circle for the back of the head and then a secondary circle would be almost like looking through to the face. We also can create an egg shape for the rib cage from the back. Ring goes all the way down to here. The top of the back of the rib cage here helps to set off the region of the shoulders.
