- So I'm pretty happy with the overall value of this. I like that it feels sort of soft and moody and I almost think about keeping that in the finish because it adds a sort of element of it's mellow and has a kind of gentle feel and it feels right for the image. So I've rubbed in the pencil so when I put the color on it won't mix and blend too much with the color on top. And aggain, this is not a finish, the intention is for this to be a color composite, or comp, that one would show to a client, to say, "Okay, this is the palette I'm thinking about. "This is my rough sketch." Or if you were doing a painting or drawing for yourself it doesn't matter, you would still, you know, hopefully, do a test run through a composite it helps to kind of clear the thoughts to figure out what you really want to do. I love using an eraser to kind of pull out lights and so I'm gonna do a little bit of that here, and then I'm gonna bring in some color. So what I'll do is add, I'm gonna start simple. I…
