Drawing is for everyone and anyone

- I believe anyone can draw because everyone can be creative. Everyone watching this video has drawn at some point in your life. I know this because every child draws, regardless of where you live or what culture you grew up in. But at some point along the way, you stopped drawing. So, all I'm asking you to do now, is to start drawing again. At the very least, for the next five days. You may be thinking, "I'm not that great at drawing." That's okay. It's normal. It's also a great reason why you should start drawing again now. This course isn't about turning you into a professional illustrator, or a fine artist, for that matter. It's about increasing your ability to draw regardless of where your skills are at now. Remember, anyone can draw. No one starts off drawing great. Everyone has room to improve, and that includes me. This challenge isn't a test. So don't be afraid of struggling or even failing with some of the drawing challenges in this course. It's normal when you try anything new, and it's also how you get better at drawing. Even though this is a five day drawing challenge, don't worry if it takes you longer. Your primary goal should be to finish it. And if that means it takes you longer, that's completely fine. I encourage you to do this challenge with a friend. That way, you can help each other along the way and hold each other creatively accountable. The nice thing about drawing is you improve with time. The more you draw, the more fun it gets. And as we will see in the next movie, it has some incredible fringe benefits to problem solving as well.
