- The next artist I want to share with you is Denise Gallagher. She's based out of Louisiana. I've known Denise for going on about five years now. A friend of mine is who introduced me to her artwork, and I've just loved watching how she's developed her style over the years. It's a distinctly drawn style, in terms of her final illustrations. This is a good example. She's been wonderful to share with me her process of how she builds her final illustrations, because they all start off as just simple pencil drawings. Here's one composition that she's drawn out. If I zoom in on this, you can check out how her line weights are, how she draws things out, and it's a very loose, what I call a naive, style, very nicely done, though, in terms of the pencil work. You can see her specific style, in terms of how she handles her linework and all the various details in her composition. It's really fun.
