- So how did your personified plant drawing come out? What did you find the hardest about this challenge? Let me share with you how my daughter and myself approached this challenge. So the plant that I chose to draw out was based off of the maple leaf reference provided and I created just a happy character who's raising his hands. That's kind of the shape association I saw when I looked at the maple leaf. Drew it out in pencil. And once again, as you're gonna see throughout all the challenges I kind of kept gravitating towards the brush pen. I really like this pen. I'm growing to like it more and more each time I use it. And on this specific drawing I used it again to ink out this piece of artwork. Now what I like so much about it is just the organic quality to it and just the nice line work it creates. It's a really fun pen to use, so make sure to check out a brush pen and give it a go when you work on your drawing. So once I have this, I scanned this in so I could print out some…
