- Welcome to day 3 of the five day drawing challenge. Today's drawing challenge theme is personifying plants. We've all seen inanimate objects, animals and plants, turned into human-like characters through movies, books and art. This is what you call anthropomorphic forms. In essence, non-human things given human characteristics. Here are four reference photos of various plants. Today's challenge is to pick one of these plants and draw it out as if it had human qualities. A plant-base character, if you will. Use the photos as reference only. Don't trace anything. Just use them as an inspiration to guide your own, original drawing. Take as much creative license as you see fit and experiment with how you approach humanizing your plant of choice.
