- So, how did your naturally-inspired drawing come out? Did ya draw on a leaf? How did you integrate a branch with your drawing? Did ya come up with a clever idea for either? Let me show you what I did for this challenge. So on this specific challenge, I used a Sharpie white paint pen, and this is one of the leaves that I collected. I collected a lot of leaves, actually, I live in the Pacific Northwest, where there's no shortage of 'em, and I dried 'em out, pressed 'em between cardboard and stacked a pile of books on 'em to keep 'em nice and flat. Now, this is a lot of fun, by the way. I just simply start drawing on these, so as you can see, the darker the leaf, the more the white ink is gonna show up, and another thing to keep in mind, if you're gonna draw on the leaf, is draw on the front side of the leaf. If you draw on the back, it has the veins in the leaf, and it makes it hard to draw on the surface. But on the front it's pretty flat. So this is where I'll just start creating…
