So, how did your drawn shading turn out? Did you learn anything new about shading and form? This exercise is another one I do with my students every year. And just when I think I have seen it all, someone surprises me with a slightly different approach. Let me show you how my shadows turned out. Now, you'll be working off of this reference sheet, which is provided in exercise files for this course. And each of these six faces has the lighting source defined by this sphere that's above them. So if we look at this first one here, the lighting source is coming directly above and coming down. Now, one easy way you could help yourself to accomplish and discern each of these different faces and how the lighting and shadows are going to be formed is to take a lamp and a doll. And use that face on the doll and position it according to what I'm calling out, as the light source on this sheet. And that might help you figure out each of these.
