- The next artist I want to share with you is an artist by the name of Dave Pasciuto. He's based out of Chicago. Dave is a very talented artist who has worked in the gaming industry for a long time. I've seen a lot of the 3-D models he's created for gaming and CGI work, and he's really good in that realm, as well, but one aspect that he brings to the table when he's working out concept is his sketching and drawing ability. A lot of it is character-based, and so he'll do a lot of character sketches and drawings, and this is a good example of that work shown here. I'm going to zoom in on this, because you really can only appreciate the line work when you see it up close, so we'll zoom in on this funky character here, and you can see it looks like he's drawn it with a pen brush, and then he's done a light wash of color underneath it. The nice thing about this is that Dave draws all of these type of concept drawings in Photoshop. He's drawn these out using a Wacom tablet, Centiq…
