- Welcome to Day 5, the final day of the 5-Day Drawing Challenge. The last drawing challenge theme is Draw a Parallel Universe. I've been a science fiction fan since I was a little kid. And this next challenge mixes my love of all things sci-fi with my love of drawing in order to create a fun and compelling drawing illusion. Using one of the four images provided, you'll draw a glimpse into its parallel universe. What exactly does that mean? This is easier explained by showing you an example. Here is one of the original photos you can pick from. And here is the same photo with my parallel universe drawing aligned with it. If you'd rather use your own photograph, that's even better. And I recommend using a light box to assist you in aligning your drawing with the elements in the photograph. If you have Photoshop, you can composite your drawing with your photo into one image. Or you can keep it simple and just lay your drawing on top of your photo and take a picture of that. Either way…
