(upbeat electronic music) - I always enjoy having that little piece of art that wasn't there before.
Whether it be the catalogs or my books or the monsters. Working all night on a drawing and then coming back the next morning and seeing that piece there and going, "Okay, that wasn't there before I got to it." That's reversing the chaos of the world within that rectangle. And I think that's why I'm attracted to design and illustration.
It just felt good to do. I mean, I just enjoyed having drawn something. That was always my thing, was just to get the ideas out.
Bonus Feature: Join us at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, where Stefan is interviewed by writer and creative strategist Terry Lee Stone after a screening of his film.
