- What culture exists at your company? Is it ideal, does it need to be shifted? Does it need to be supported? We can get inspired, we can learn how to upgrade our skills, but if we're not in or trying to develop the right culture, we are missing out on our best work opportunities and our best employees. It's an important component of any company, in fact, I would argue that it may be the most important component, especially if you want to grow your organization. Workplace culture is the manifestation of a company's beliefs and values. The first step to creating your company's culture is to figure out what your organization stands for. Then make decisions based on those values. It ultimately becomes a definition of how we do things around here. It has nothing to do with whether your company has a pool table or what kind of music you play in your office, if you play music at all.
