Understanding timing

When it comes to presentations, two important things that you need to know are how much time you have and what needs to be accomplished in that time. Even though you've made an appointment to present, their day may have shifted. I always re-confirm how much time we have. It's better to know you have less time and adjust up front. Than to be cut short mid-presentation. When presentation meetings begin, the client is super eager to see exactly what you've done. It's important, thought, that you present enough background about the problem, your research and your process in order to properly set context for your work. It's simple. The more time you spend on any one part of the presentation, the more emphasis you place on that part. Getting it right takes practice.
