Well public sector analytics basically means, how…do, does the public sector improve their performance.…So this would be cities, it could be…hospitals, it could be government, it could be schools.…So let's take some examples.…So, clearly we want to reduce crime with…limited police resources in our major cities.…Like Chicago's had a really high record high murder rate.…And basically, thanks to analytics, in 2013 that…was reduced.…And in New York under Giuliana did a really nice job of reducing crime also.…
So basically, how does analytics play in there?…Well basically, you want to have some predictions of where…the crimes are going to occur, every day and time of day.…And you want to put more police where there are more likely to be crimes.…And so basically you have to do the predictive piece,…where the crimes will occur and then the prescriptive piece.…How do you allocate the policemen, in that situat, in those situations.…Okay, the next example be how did Obama win reelection?…Well he got more votes than his opponent.…
