- How are you feeling about working in DaVinci Resolve, doing these big primary corrections using the variety of these tools? It can be a little bit intimidating. There's a lot of different tools to solve the same basic problem and the question is, how do you work Patrick, how do you solve this? And by the way what's the point of the primary correction? Why can't we just get to creating the look? And the answer is well, think of this as the foundation. We're building a foundation, I call this the base grade. So we're creating a base grade, a base color correction for us to work upon so that we can do shot matching. And then after we do the shot matching, then we can go ahead and create our looks. So, let's take a look on our Hero Shots timeline that we've already selected. We've analyzed these images using our scopes.
