- In this Chapter, I'm changing things up a bit. Those of you who are already familiar with DaVinci Resolve 9 or 10 or 11 and have a good, working understanding of how Resolve generally works, that's who I'm talking to here in this next batch of movies as to what's new in DaVinci Resolve 12. DaVinci Resolve 12 completely redesigned the UI. They added over 200 new features, and I've gone ahead and selected a handfull that I think people who already know Resolve should know about when launching Resolve 12. If you're coming to this batch of what's new movies, and you're fresh to the Resolve concept, the interface, the workflow, it's okay. Feel free to watch these. You'll probably get confused. You might even think I'm taking a little bit of gobbledygook. That's fine. I don't expect you to understand everything I'm about to point out. Just know you can skip this chapter, come to it at the end, and then, you'll be up to speed and really understand why it is I'm excited about these new features we're about to explore.
