Using video scopes to analyze the hero shots

- I've called this chapter, "Seeing Like a Colorist." And now that you've seen the tools that a colorist uses, we can now examine the hero shots that we selected earlier in this chapter and evaluate them the way a colorist might evaluate them. I've pulled up the timeline 07_07, Hero Shots Eval and again, we need to filter down to our hero shots clip. So we're going to select any flagged clip, and these are our hero shots. So I'm going to Shift F, and that pulls us into a full screen view of our image, and let me just up and down arrow very quickly. Just looking at the shot, this looks a little flat. It could use a little more interest in the sky, and in the plains. They're looking pretty good. I could probably pop out the clouds a little bit more. Maybe she's a little yellow. They've got some potential in here as well. She's probably too dark. Maybe there's a little too much yellow here. Well, that's one way of going through this evaluation.
