Using the Lum vs. and the Sat vs. curves

- There are two other types of curves here in DaVinci Resolve. Whereas we were using hue, we'd select a hue and make a change to either the color of an object, the saturation of an object, the brightness of an object, we've got two other selectors we can choose. They're down here in the pulldown menu. We've got the Lum vs selection. In this case, we're selecting a brightness value and affecting the saturation. If I option f and bring that into the enhanced viewer, what we use this tool for is to tell Resolve, all right, I want the brightest elements in this picture to become more saturated, luminance versus saturation, so for instance, the skies here are something that I would frequently want to increase the saturation on. What I could do is grab this endpoint and drag it up. What it's telling us is, on the left hand side is black, on the right hand side is white, and this is kind of a gray scale in between.
