Power window fundamentals: Basic controls

- Power windows. I love me my power windows. I use them all the time, whether it be used as a kind of vignette kind of effect, whether it be used to isolate keys. I’m always in this interface. So let’s take a look and understand and discover how to use the power window interface. You’re going to find your power windows here under this icon, which if I hover, I get up the little tool-tip window. I’ll click on that. And these are the shapes available to us. In this movie, let’s just focus on working with a circular power window, and see what all of these controls are, and what they do for us. So to turn on a power window, I’m going to hover over the shape icon and click on it, and it gives me an orange border. When I see this orange border, I know that it’s turned on. The other thing that I know that it’s turned on, is I see a big little widget here, that’s telling me that the window is active. This widget is a bunch of on-screen controls that allow me to control the shape, size…
