- DaVinci Resolve 12.5 has given us some interesting features when we're working with project settings, and there's one small feature, I think is worth it's own time, which has to do with exporting and archiving our projects. So if I go ahead and open up the project manager, and let's say Resolve 12-5 Update, this chapter, is something I want to archive. I'm going to go ahead and right-click on it. If I select archive, and select a location, I'll put it on the desktop, save, I have two new options when I'm archiving. Option number one is archive my Render Cache, right? This is brand new here in 12-5. We use to be able to archive, and when we archive, we are also archiving our footage. Now we can archive our footage with our actual render cache, and next to that, is optimized media. And this is the one that I do actual like archiving with, is optimized media because it can take a while, especially on a larger job, to create this optimized media, and it would be nice if you restore an…
