Keyframing fundamentals

- I don't know about you, but I frequently find myself in a situation where I need to animate my color grades over time. Sometimes, it's for creative reasons, maybe I want to change the time of day, it's a bit of a time lapse thing that I'm trying to imitate. Maybe, it's to fix a problem, maybe there's a quick little exposure hitch in the middle of a shot as the iris changes, and we want to try and hide that. No matter what, eventually you're probably going to need to use keyframing to make some of these things happen. That's what we're about to talk about, the basics of using keyframing, here in DaVinci Resolve, and the keyframe editor is located here, in the lower right-hand corner of the color page. If you're not seeing it, that's because you need this icon highlighted. It also shares space with our built-in scopes, as well as the information display.
