- Keyboard shortcuts. They are the single biggest signal to your client that you know your software. They allow you to move very, very quickly through your timeline, through your work spaces. They're amazing things to know. You should be learning your keyboard shortcuts and that's what this movie is about. Some very useful keyboard shortcuts when we're editing and we're going to start the discussion talking about the granddaddy of keyboard shortcuts, undo. Now you already know the undo command. It's command Z or control Z on the PC. What I want to explain to you is that DaVinci Resolve actually has a couple of different undo stacks. There's an undo stack in the edit page and there's an undo stack in the color page. Here's a typical scenario. You're color correcting for a little while. Client asks you to make a change on the edit page. You jump into the edit page. You make one or two changes and then you decide to undo it and you go undo one or two or three many times.
