Intro to color correcting: Log with LUTs

- Working with log recorded images is very different than working with raw. With raw, we have lots of options as to how we want to develop the starting state of the image we're about to color correct. I can choose a log style starting state when I'm working with the raw recorded image. When I'm working with an image that has been recorded log, that choice is done, I'm starting with log, I can't choose to develop the image into something else. I have to start color grading from that starting point. There are two basic ways of working with log recorded images, and it all begins with how those images are recorded, and the recorded looking very flat, very lifeless, because they're recorded to retain as much detail as possible in those images, and when the camera does that, it doesn't look right to the human eye.
