Installing and launching DaVinci Resolve for the first time

- Maybe you have the dongle for the paid version of Resolve that ships with every Blackmagic Cinema camera. Maybe you just decided DaVinci Resolve looks interesting and you want to learn it using the free DaVinci Resolve. In either case, if you've never installed Resolve on your computer you're watching the right movie. I'll help you find and install the most recent version version, and I strongly recommend you do use the most recent version of Resolve, even if it's newer than the version you see me using here. That's because Blackmagic is very aggressive in keeping their software updated, squashing bugs, adding new features, and supporting new cameras. So you do want to stay up to date. Remember, if you have a usb dongle you'll be downloading DaVinci Resolve 12 Studio. If you don't, you'll be downloading the free version which is named DaVinci Resolve 12.
