- I want to talk to you about a very sad subject. What happens if you're having problems with DaVinci Resolve. It's quitting on you, you can't get it to launch properly, you go onto Black Magic's website, they've got a forum there just for DaVinci Resolve, you post your problem, the team actually responds to you and they say, "Send us your diagnostic log". And you're like, what? This is what we're going to talk about right now. What is the diagnostic log? How is the proper way of generating it? And where you find it once you generate it. And it's really, really super easy. If you come down to the Help menu and if you just normally click on it, there's nothing really special here. There's DaVinci Resolve help, which pulls up the manual. There's the Welcome Tour and there's the Developer Documentation. The key here is to press the Option or Alt key when you select the Help menu. So I'm going to holding down my Option key and a new Option pops up, Create Diagnostics Log On Desktop. So if…
