- Having rendered out our individual source clips, we just send it to editorial, right? Uh, not quite. You could do that, but what if the XML that rendered out is wrong? What if there was a bad frame or two in your renders? Do you want to get a phone call telling you you gave them a bad render? Or would you rather find it first re-render, and deliver a job that you know is accurate? Me, I'll take the second choice. Let me show you how I go about dealing with that here in DaVinci Resolve. So as I get ready to prepare and deliver a job to the client, I'm going to come into the Media Pool. And what I'm going to do is create a new folder by right-clicking add bin, and I'm going to call this Render Check and yes, I actually do this on every single job. I've got my Render Check folder, now I'm going to come to my Media folder and I'm going to look in my To Client folder and here's Approvals For Editorial. I'm going to right-click and add this bin and create bins. So now I have all the shots…
