- Back when we were talking about making big, honking primary corrections, I talked about how the custom curves kind of straddled between being a primary correction or a secondary correction. It's all about how you use it. Let's take a look now at how we use our custom curves to make very targeted secondary corrections. I'm here in Chapter 10. If you're following along with the exercise files, I'm in Timelines 10_02 Curve Secondaries and we're on shot number one, which is a greyscale and if you see a greyscale, that means I am pulling up my waveform scopes. Let's go into our one-up view and I've got my waveform selected. Let's take a look at our options, see what I'm looking at. Let's just turn this into a luma waveform, so I'm turning off the Y.
