Have you ever color graded a clip in DaVinci Resolve and wanted to copy that grade over to another clip? Is there a way to go about it without recreating the correction step by step? You can copy it all over at once. In this video, instructor Patrick Inhofer demonstrates how to copy color corrections across clips in DaVinci Resolve 14.
- When we're color correcting in DaVinci Resolve,…the single most important add-on,…a piece of hardware you can use…to supplement your software is a three button mouse…that has that middle click button.…On this particular mouse, the scroll wheel acts also…as a middle click button and that's really important…because I have met colorists…who have been using Resolve for years…and I watch them copying color corrections…from one shot to the other…and they've got some convoluted method they're using…and they didn't realize…that if they just used a three button mouse,…copying color corrections are literally a click away.…
Let's see what I'm talking about.…We are back in 05_04-ColorWheels-END,…we've been working on this for a couple of movies now.…I've got this crazy corrections setup,…this crazy three node correction setup,…and imagine I really like this,…who knows maybe it's a some crazy dream sequence right?…And now I go to the next shot…and I want to copy that correction to the next shot.…How do I do that?…Well the easiest way, well actually there are two easy ways.…
