- Also available to us as more of a secondary correction are the color boost and midtone detail controls that again you usually find with the raw controls and generally work better if you've done raw recorded images and by the way, if you don't know what I'm talking about with raw, we're going to be talking about that a little later in this training and let's take a look at where they are again. They're next to the highlights and shadows controls that we just talked about. We've got color boost and midtone detail. Again, you can consider these secondaries because they're designed to do very specific things. We'll start with color boost. The concept of color boost is we're going to take areas that have not a lot of color, not a lot of saturation and add saturation to those areas so I'm going to click over on color boost, drag to the right and I'm adding saturation.
