Understanding how an individual node processes color is critical when changing the color space of a node. In this video tutorial, you will learn how the individual color channels work together and see some experimentation with combining different RGB, YUV, and HSL channels. You will also learn how to create new serial nodes in DaVinci Resolve 11.

I'm going to option + s and create a new serial node.…Let me show you some other things…we can do with serial nodes.…I'm going to right-click,…and I can enable channel one, two or three,…or any combination of these.…What is channel one, two or three?…Well, by default, the color space…of an individual node is RBG.…If I come up here to Color Space, RBG is selected.…If I turn off channel two,…and then I'll select again and turn off channel three,…this node will only affect the red channel.…
