Introduction to IK rigging
- [Instructor] The best way to familiarize yourself with creating an inverse kinematics, or IK Rig, is to just straight up just create an IK Rig, so I'm here in 02 Intro to IK Rigging, and I'm gonna be using Duik's Rigging toolbox up here, which is the little icon that looks like a little person, and the IK button down here, to create an actual inverse kinematics rig. I'm going to create a very simple arm rig from three separate rectangle segments representing the arm, the forearm, and the hand. So first things first, I need to create these segments. I'll go up to the rectangle tool up here, so I can create a rectangle shape. I don't need to worry about having a stroke on here, so if you have a stroke, you can take that down to zero. Just make sure you have a fill color, doesn't matter what color. I'm using red. I'm gonna go down, and I'm gonna create first, a large forearm.
