- [Owen] I'm here in 01 Getting Started…Duik Interfaces and Preferences,…and let's set some quick necessary…After Effects preferences,…then open up Duik to familiarize ourselves…with the different toolboxes, panels, icons,…and the overall look and feel of Duik.…I'll start by going up to After Effects drop down menu,…I'll go over to Preferences, and hit General.…For this to work, because it's a script,…we need to click on this Allow Scripts to Write Files…and Access Network preference box.…I'll just checkmark that,…I'll hit OK, and to make sure it works…I need to restart After Effects.…
So I'll just Quit After Effects,…go back to my project file,…and open it back up.…Alright, so now we're good to go.…Because Duik is a script…we need to open it up in our Windows panel.…I'm gonna up to Windows,…and I'll go down to Duik,…which will be way down at the bottom…with any other scripts you have in there.…I'll click on it, and it will pop up.…There it is in all its glory.…So because it's a dockable panel…I'm gonna click on the little Duik text here…
