- [Instructor] I'm here in 12 02 Control Cam,…and we'll be taking a look at the Control Camera function…here in the camera's tool box.…The Control Cam tool adds simple controllers…linked to a 3D camera, its position,…and its target, also called its point of interest.…Basically, this takes the best parts of a two-node camera,…which is an after affects camera with a point of interest,…and combines it with the freedom of a one-node camera,…a camera that moves freely without a point of interest.…So, depending on which control layer you move,…it will either move its point of interest freely with it…or move the camera while continuing to aim…at that point of interest.…
How about we actually set this up…so you can get a better idea…of what I'm actually blabbing on about?…So in this scene,…I have a few different layers set up in 3D.…I have my Text layer for…Creates control layers for 3d camera,…my Control Camera Text,…and my Cut Out Shapes back here.…They're all distributed through Z space.…We can see this better if we change our View.…
